Wooot!!! 22 years after the world got its first look at Nike sneakers from the year 2015 in the hit film Back to the Future Part II, Nike is teasing the forthcoming release of those very same shoes … for US to own! This week, Nike unveiled a promo video that shows a warehouse full of racks and racks of the Back to the Future sneaks that Marty McFly wore in the film … sneaks that will soon be made available for purchase by all. Great Scott! Nike is releasing the Nike Air Mag kicks, just as they were prominently displayed on the feet of Michael J Fox in the future vision of Back To The Future 2 … Just this year, Nike patented a rough design for a light-up shoe with built-in batteries that (somehow) helped automatically secure the shoe onto the user’s foot. AKA POWER LACES. Looks like we may get the McFly kicks before the year 2015. No news on price or when they will available, but I promise to stay on this story until I have a pair of my very own.

The fact that they light up is awesome … the fact that they are self-lacing is amazing … and both of those cool things prolly means the shoes will be very expensive. We are just a few months away from the release of director David Fincher‘s version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and today we get to check out a behind the scenes video that was shot on the set of Dragon Tattoo. A Tumblr site called Mouth Taped Shut has, apparently, been online for a few weeks now but this week got noticed because of this new video. Check it out below … it’s pretty sweet.

As you may recall, the official site for Dragon Tattoo was updated last month with official promo images but it looks like this Tumblr site is offering a more behind the scenes look at the film. It’s not entirely clear who owns the site but this video gives me hope that we will get to see more cool shizz very soon

Earlier this week, we got a pretty good look at little miss Harper Seven Beckham as she ventured out into the big bad world with her famous family for the first time since being born back in July. Today we learn that Harper, along with mama Victoria Beckham, has made her way to NYC, NY ahead of NY Fashion Week. As you can see in the photos below, Harper looks a lot like her big brother Cruz David. She is a doll, y’all!!

What a cutie … and so big! I mean, I don’t know babies that well but … she looks pretty big for only being 2 months old, don’t she? Her little face looks so much like Cruz‘s chubby little face … so cute. Altho VB will be bizzy with Fashion Week duties, I fully expect that she will have babe in arms wherever she goes. It must be said, Harper makes a pretty cute little accessory, don’t she?

Last night my good friend Jen and I made our way down to the Gipson Amphitheater at Universal City to see Def Leppard and Heart in concert. She and I have been really looking forward to this show for MONTHS so we were both really amped on the show. While Def Leppard were the headliners, I was just as excited to see Heart … primarily because I’ve loved both bands for DECADES now and never got to see either in concert before. Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart are goddesses, plain and simple. These ladies have been ROCKIN’ for 30 years now and they haven’t slowed one bit. Nancy‘s guitar playing is fantastic, Ann‘s voice is strong and flawless … Heart put on a really fantastic set. Here is video of Heart performing These Dreams:

Then it was time for Def Leppard … oh man, such a great show. You wanna talk about hits? Every single song they performed was a huge smash hit single … what a great show:

Last month we got to see the latest sculpture masterpiece created by pop culture artist Daniel Edwards and today we get to feast our eyes on his newest offering. While last month Edwards paid tribute to the young love affair betwixt Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, this month he is paying tribute to the late singer Amy Winehouse. Memorial Portrait for Amy Winehouse is a topless bust tribute sculpture that, like all of Edwards‘s work, must be seen to be fully appreciated. Check it out below.

A tribute to the late Amy Winehouse has just been unveiled. The bronze memorial bust came from the hand of controversial sculptor Daniel Edwards and was made in response to the remembrance requests from numerous Facebook fans from the U.K. … Called “Memorial Portrait for Amy Winehouse”, this sculpture depicts the “Back to Black” singer bare-chested, and presents her without her trademark tattoos and piercings. In exchange, Daniel decorates her beehive-styled hair with a songbird and lilies. It is unveiled less than a month after a bronze metallic statue of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez was shown to public. Of the work, Daniel said, “I thought of her as a beautifully delicate fairytale princess, waiting to be rescued from fame and addiction, but her prince never came.” He added, “I had always expected to sculpt her portrait, but I was waiting for her to put some of her troubles behind her. She had made me pay attention to contemporary music again.” The New York artist’s representative Cory Allen additionally explained in a statement, “The portrait of Amy is dedicated to those struggling with addiction and eating disorder. Nobody should have to go through what Amy went through.”

It’s an interesting piece … Edwards has a knack for getting the faces of his subjects down pretty perfectly. I actually like the imagery used … the songbird in Amy‘s hair to honor her talent. The lilies in her hair seem to be in memorial of her death. And her visible breastplate/rib cage speaks to her struggles with her eating disorder. I’m certain not everyone will love this tribute but I like it. Do you?

Earlier this week we saw photos of Anne Hathaway kickin’ ass in costume as Selina Kyle/Catwoman on the set of the upcoming sequel film Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Today we get to see new photos of Anne on set but this time she is joined by Batman star Christian Bale in costume as millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. Check out the photos below.

Catwoman’s alter ego Selina Kyle is typically portrayed as a petty thief. But it appears as though the character may be moving on up for Anne Hathaway’s portrayal of her in The Dark Knight Rises. The actress was pictured on the Los Angeles set of the film today looking very prim and proper. The 28-year-old’s ladylike appearance is a far cry from the publicity still released by Warner Bros last month showing Anne in a leather catsuit riding her motorbike. Hathaway filmed scenes today dressed in a black dress and cropped jacket, gloves, a wide-brimmed hat and heels. Anne wore a perfect pout of red lipstick and wore prim pearl earrings. While she waited in between takes, the actress removed her jacket to stay cool in the sweltering LA heat, which hit 89F today. When director Christopher Nolan yelled ‘action,’ Anne wheeled her suitcase and handbag to the curb and hailed a yellow taxi. And later, she donned a full-length black coat and strappy heels as she shot another scene which looked to be set in winter … Christian Bale was also spotted on set negotiating traffic. He weaved his way in and out of cars on a busy street. The actor, who stars as Batman in the film franchise, was seen getting his make-up touched up in between scenes. And like Anne, he changed his attire to film a night scene. He looked dapper during the day in a pin-striped black suit with a pink tie and purple shirt … Filming moved to California this week from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Now that filming has moved to SoCal we will likely see more photos from the Batman set. These pics are fun … Anne looks great … but, well … we’ll have to see how all of this turns out. It’s nice to see Christian on set … he’s been seen hanging out but there haven’t been many photos of him filming. I’m curious to see how the relationship between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle will play out in this film … perhaps we’ll get some hints from the on-set photos … HMMM.

Yikes! Scary news to pass along about newlywed actress Reese Witherspoon … yesterday, while out for a routine jog here in SoCal, Reese was struck by a car when the 84-year old driver failed to yield to her in the pedestrian crosswalk. While Reese was actually hit by the car in motion, thankfully she was not injured too severely. Click below for all the known deets about this unfortunate accident.

Reese Witherspoon was hit by a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred during a jog in Santa Monica, Calif., a rep for the actress, 35, confirms to PEOPLE. The driver, an 84-year-old woman, was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, say reports. Explaining that she was not seriously injured, the rep says Witherspoon is “resting comfortably at home.”

Ugh … how crappy is this? It’s one thing to get hit by another car when you’re IN your own car … but to be smashed into by a car while you’re jogging? OUCH! Here’s hoping Reese recovers quickly so she can get back to her jogging routine. Poor thing.

The blog FabLife stumbled upon a set of photos of Lindsay Lohan‘s sister Aliana and, to be honest, I had no idea that the photos were actually of Ali when I first saw them. It would seem that something … different … has been done to her face that makes Ali almost unrecognizable. Oh, Lohans. Will you never cease to make us question your collective decision-making skills? Ali Lohan was photographed in Beverly Hills yesterday while hitting the salon with big sis Lindsay, and not only did she look strikingly thin, but something else was…off. Since signing to NEXT Model Management last month, Ali’s lips appear plumper, cheekbones more swollen, nose refined, eyes more “alert” and eyebrows completely re-landscaped. We’d love to believe her almost-unrecognizable new face is due to some sculpting makeup, Lip Venom and masterful eyebrow threading, but we’re skeptical. We must note that Ali’s 17 years old, meaning her mother Dina likely had to sign off on anything she may or may not have had done. Oy.

I fully expect the Lohans to vehemently deny that anything surgical has been done to 17 year old Ali‘s face but … well, you can see for yourselves that she looks completely different. I’m sorry but the change is not an improvement … by any means. What do y’all think? Did Ali get work done or … are these changes just … natural?

Last week rocker Marilyn Manson released a new book titled Born Villain and today we learn from the man himself that he is releasing a new album by year’s end. It may come as no surprise to learn that MM has decided to give his album the same title as his new book. Prepare yourselves, y’all … Marilyn Manson‘s new album Born Villain is on the way.

Manson had this to say: “‘Born Villain’ is the title of the new Marilyn Manson album. While looking to experiment in unlikely collaborations, I met Shia, and we spent a long night at my studio. After seeing ‘Maniac,’ his short film, which is somewhat inspired by ‘Man Bites Dog,’ I was astonished by his directing ability. So I shared quite a few of my favorite inspirations in art, literature, and obviously…film. I was impressed with how Shia digested my world, and made what I’d like to think, is both an homage and a mockery of the history of Cinema. We ended up writing a short film, and just recently released a trailer. The score is from my new album, and is, in the words of Macbeth, ‘full of sound and fury.’ I find the idea of a yawning MGM lion far more interesting than a roaring one. You ask why we did this? ‘No reason.’“

No official release date has yet been announced by MM says Born Villain will be out “by year’s end” on the Cooking Vinyl Records label. HMMM. I’m guessing MM is going with an indie label because no major label wants him … so … yeah. Despite the fact that MM‘s last few albums have been complete shite, I am hopeful that this new album will be good. He is a talented musician … I just hope we get to hear some of that talent again … soon.
