“They forget that I’m someone’s sister and I’m someone’s daughter. It hurts their feelings. My mom, it breaks her heart. I’m her daughter, she wants to go out and kill them,†she says.

Though the role was his for the taking, Latin American teddy bear Gael Garcia Bernal has passed on the role of Jason Bourne’s latest nemesis in “The Bourne Ultimatum.†The actor cited schedule conflicts as his reason for declining the part…as opposed to the more obvious issue at hand, which is that moviegoers generally have a hard enough time buying the cuddly Bernal as a character who kills time, much less another human being.
Undaunted, filmmakers continue to seek a suitable replacement to play the ruthless assassin trailing Jason Bourne. Current frontrunners are rumored to be none other than the Snuggle Fabric Softener mascot or, if his asking price should be too steep, one of the lesser Care Bears.

It may not be a war of the worlds, but Sumner Redstone is certainly interested starting a war of words against Tom Cruise. The Viacom Chairman, who decided to end his company, Paramount’s contract with Cruise in August, recently badmouthed the actor to Vanity Fair.
Redstone said, “He was embarrassing the studio. And he was costing us a lot of money…When did I decide [to fire him]? I don’t know. When he was on the “Today†show? When he was jumping on a couch at “Oprahâ€? He changed his handler, you know, to his sister - not a good idea.” Sumner claims that Tom’s bizarre behavior cost Paramount “$100 million, $150 million on ‘Mission: Impossible III.’ It was the best picture of the three, and it did the worst.”
Sumner’s wife Paula influenced his decision to drop Tom. He says, “Paula, like women everywhere, had come to hate him. The truth of the matter is, I did listen to her…His behavior was entirely unacceptable to Paula and to the rest of the world. He just didn’t turn one [woman] off. He turned off all women, and a lot of men.”
Redstone isn’t sorry he decided to bash Cruise when he ended their partnership. At the time he said, “We don’t think that someone who effectuates creative suicide and costs the company revenue should be on the lot.†Referring to the comments, Redstone says, “The explosion was good. It sent a message to the rest of the world that the time of the big star getting all this money is over. And it is! I would like to think that what I did, or what we did, has had a salutary effect on the rest of the industry.”

Diddy’s Bad Boy label has inked a deal with reggae label VP Records to market the dancehall superstar Elephant Man.
“Elephant Man is one the greatest entertainers in his genre of music. When I saw him at Madison Square Garden ripping down the stage, I knew that he was the one. He will be a great addition to our team,†Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs says.

The socialite’s racy image exploded after a sex tape, ‘One Night In Paris’, starring Hilton and her ex-boyfriend Rick Soloman was released on the internet, says that guys are often disappointed when they find out she’s a lot more dull when she’s not in the public eye.
“People shouldn’t judge me and assume that’s how I am,” Paris says about her public image.

There has been speculation for years that Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s marriage was on the rocks, so the announcement that the couple was going to split hardly came as a surprise. Still, why did the couple choose a time when Phillippe had a movie in theatres (Flags of Our Fathers) to break the news of their separation? According to the National Enquirer, Reese had recently discovered that Ryan had been unfaithful.
The tabloid claims that Ryan is involved with Abbie Cornish, his co-star in the upcoming film, Stop Loss. While filming in Austin, 32-year-old Ryan and 24-year-old Abbie reportedly became more than friends.
The pair were seen having an intimate dinner at a restaurant called Kenichi after the Austin filming ended on the movie. A spy for the Enquirer said, “They asked for the restaurant staff to pull curtains around their table, so no one could see them.” Another witness to the dinner told Pink is the New Blog, “We sat two tables away from Phillippe and an extremely attractive blonde (not Reese. The couple had a partition placed around their table soon after they arrived, but we could still see their legs intertwined under the table. As we left, we could see them clearly making out behind the partition.”
The Enquirer reports that Witherspoon discovered the affair when she saw messages to Cornish on Phillippe’s BlackBerry. October 16, the night that the couple attended the premiere for Flags of Our Fathers, Reese found the evience of the affair. “When they got back to the hotel, Reese found Ryan’s BlackBerry, which he’d carelessly left in the bathroom - and she read it. Ryan was caught red-handed. All he could say was he didn’t mean what he’d written to the other woman,” says an insider.
Ryan had to leave betrayed Reese behind in Los Angeles while he traveled to Morocco to finish working on Stop Loss. The time apart only made Reese angrier. When Ryan came back from filming Reese had decided to end the marriage. “Reese is heartbroken,” a source said.

Just as we all suspected, Kevin Federline is using his wife, Britney Spears to get press on his new album Playing With Fire, which was released today. While promoting the album, Kevin gave dirt on his relationship with Britney to USA Today and the New York Post.
Kevin told USA Today that he never intended to fall for Britney when he did. He says, “I’m not going to say that I planned on falling in love with my wife when my ex-girlfriend [Shar Jackson] was pregnant.†But despite the sticky situation, Federline claims that his two children with Jackson, 4-year-old Kori and 2-year-old Kaleb, are close with his two children with Spears, 1-year-old Sean and newborn Jayden.
Sean “gets real excited when Kori and Kaleb come over,” he said. “[He] is starting to take on the big brother role, and he’s getting very protective. [He] wants to be around the baby all the time.” Meanwhile, Jayden “picks up things a lot quicker than the others, because he has the benefit of learning from the older kids.”
Taking a page out of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’s book, Britney and Kevin are waiting to let the public see Jayden. “If my wife wants to have that baby all to herself for now, then she keeps it, because there’s not much she has to herself, not even her own children,” explained Kevin.
The 28-year-old rapper says he is definitely a family man. He revealed, “I knew for sure that I’d have one or two children by now. I didn’t think I’d have four children, but I love being a young dad with a big family.”
Kevin doesn’t want his children to get into the entertainment industry at a young age “even though my wife did it, and it turned out okay for her…And if that means I take my family out of L.A. to grow up on a farm, then that’s what I’ve got to do.”
As for Britney, Kevin claims she is back in the studio “recording three or four times a week, and she still manages to be with the kids a lot.†And Kevin is working on the next phase of his career as well. He told the Post that he is working on a memoir, “The book is definite. It will be a biography of my life until I met my wife, so people will better understand who I am. I haven’t done it yet. You know, I’ll get a ghostwriter in there.”

After 50 years on television and 35 years hosting “The Price Is Right,†Bob Barker has announced that he will retire next June, at the age of 83, according to the Associated Press. And how does the Showcase Showman plan to spend his time off?
He said he’d take on a movie role if the right one came along, but filmmakers, take note: “I refuse to do nude scenes. These Hollywood producers want to capitalize on my obvious sexuality, but I don’t want to be just another beautiful body.”
Okay, that’s perhaps a mental image we could have done without…but props to Barker for retaining a sense of humor in his golden years. And besides, we’ll forgive the guy just about anything after his memorable appearance in “Happy Gilmore.â€
To commemorate the elder statesman’s retirement, noted CBS tightwad Les Moonves has reportedly offered the game show host a solid gold wristwatch…but only if Barker can guess its exact cost.

Is Kate Hudson pregnant again? The ‘Almost Famous’ star sparked rumours that she’s expecting her second child after she was spotted shopping for pink baby clothes at trendy Los Angeles boutique Petit Tresor.
The actress spent nearly $1,500 snapping up baby clothes at the store last weekend, it’s reported.
“Kate was shopping alone. She bought 12 pieces, including a pink cuddle coat, green frog slippers and a designer leather bag,” a source said.

It’s reported that staff at the Hyde nightclub insisted on calling an ambulance after the socialite fainted and fell to the floor, but her pals insisted on taking Nicole to the hospital themselves.
