So Pam is ready to date, only she’s just not ready to date Jim. Michael assumed that Jim left Scranton because of him, but Jim explained that he left because Pam shut him down…twice. It’s obvious that Jim is pretty hurt by that and I think Pam is going to have to make the first move, because he has to be a little gun shy at this point.

I was wondering how they’d get Jim involved with his old office, and the paper conference was the perfect opportunity for Michael and Dwight to interact with their old co-worker, to typically uncomfortable results. Michael was insistent about hosting a party in his room, but it never really happened – people kept “filtering in and out.” I was hoping for some more awkward interaction with Jan, but since he’s got a girlfriend, he’s no longer on the prowl.

Pam’s date was a complete bust, which really isn’t a surprise considering Kelly was the one who set her up. At what point does Pam break down and call Jim? It turns out that Toby – the HR guy – has a work crush on Pam, but he wasn’t able to pull the trigger and ask her out. On a side note, it’s always great to see Kelly and Ryan in a non-office setting – he still hasn’t been able to extract himself from that relationship, and I hope he never does. His expressions are just too funny when they’re together.

Dwight and Angela provided a few laughs this week with all of their “monkey” talk and Angela’s visit to Dwight’s hotel room (much to the surprise of Jim who secured a key to Dwight’s room in the hopes of pranking him, but instead caught an eyeful of Angela on the bed). Viewers who stuck around for the tag caught a treat when Dwight and Michael turned on the black light in the hotel room. There was fluid everywhere. Dwight said, “That’s semen, blood or urine.”

Michael replied, “God, I hope it’s urine.”

The oldest Hanson brother, Isaac Hanson, has wed his longterm girlfriend Nicole Dufresne in Oklahoma.

The couple tied the not in a traditional ceremony at the Philbrook Museum of Art in Isaac’s hometown of Tulsa.

Although – at 25 – Isaac is the oldest of the brothers, he is the last to marry. Middle brother Taylor, 23, wed in 2002 and 20-year-old Zac married in June.

Avril Lavigne has apologised for spitting at photographers who tried to snap her after her 22nd birthday celebrations in Los Angeles last week.

The pop-punk babe was leaving the Hyde nightclub with husband, Sum 41‘s Deryck Whibley, and her pals, when she got pissed off by photographers taking pictures of her.

With her pals giggling behind her, Avril called out to one snapper “Hey f*******, come here” and spat into his lens.

Nick Carter has revealed how he got even with his girlfriend Paris Hilton after he found out she’d been cheating on him with Chad Michael Murray…by jumping into bed with Ashlee Simpson.

The Backstreet Boys singer waited until Paris had jetted off to Australia before bedding the youngest Simpson sister.

“I’d fallen head over heels with this chick. Then, all of a sudden, three months go by and I got people telling me, ‘Nick, you know what Paris is doing to you,’ and I got a little upset,” he explains. “So then I just decided to fight back a little bit and started doing my own thing again. Short-fused supermodel Naomi Campbell has been warned she could be arrested the next time she fails to show up in court.

She was issued with the warning after not turning up for a court hearing this week.

The model was “not able” to attend a Manhattan court hearing on Wedsnesday, her lawyer David Breitbart said. He did not give a reason.

Lindsay Lohan is poor

When Lindsay Lohan lost her orange Birkin bag allegedly filled with $1 million+ worth of jewelry and her asthma medication, she made sure the whole world knew about it. Her rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnick made a statement begging for the bag’s return and Lindsay was seen sobbing as she left Heathrow airport. Luckily, the actress received her Birkin less than one day later when a chauffeur recovered it. You’d think Lindsay would have been heaping her gratitude on the person who returned the bag, but he’s saying he’s yet to receive a “thank you” from the starlet.

The chauffeur, Tom Webster who works for Reyka vodka, told Page Six that Lohan’s London rep assured him he would receive a reward or some other form of thank you. But Webster says, “They haven’t gotten back to me. Not a word. She seems like a nice girl and she was pleased to get the bag back – it was full of diamonds and bracelets and necklaces. But it’s really disappointing. I’d like to hear from her with maybe just a ‘thanks very much.’ Her people took my address and phone number and said they’d be in touch. I know these stars need a good looking-after, but she could have easily just spoke to me on the phone.”

Zelnik was peeved when Page Six confronted her with Webster’s allegations. She said, “I will look into that matter, but I wonder why they’d call a newspaper and not just call me. I think they obviously want free publicity using Lindsay’s name.”

The chauffer who discovered Lindsay Lohan’s missing handbag, stuffed with jewellery worth $1 million, says the actress hasn’t been in contact to say thanks.

Lohan’s rep promised Tom Webster a reward or a thank you note from the ‘Mean Girls’ star after he discovered her bag at Heathrow Airport last month, but he says he hasn’t heard anything.

Borat, Sacha Baron Cohen‘s fictional Kazakh reporter, was turned away from the White House gates after trying to invite “Premier George Walter Bush” to the opening of his controversial new movie.

Mel ‘Gibsons’, and O.J. Simpson were also lucky enough to be invited to ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’.

IN the movie, Borat portrays Kazakhs as a nation of horse-wee drinking sexists, racists and anti-Semites.
