Nicole Richie and Brody Jenner’s relationship heats up

Nicole Richie and Brody Jenner’s relationship is heating up reports People Magazine.

“I was there when (Brody) was born!” Nicole’s dad, Lionel Richie, a longtime friend of Jenner’s songwriter mom Linda Thompson and Olympic track star dad Bruce Jenner, tells PEOPLE. “They grew up together. To see them together now is like, ‘Where are you going with this?’ But they’re having a wonderful time.”

Just three months after splitting up with ex-fiancé DJ AM – for the second time – Richie, 24, has been cozying up with the 23-year-old Princes of Malibu star. (He recently split from yet another reality TV star, Laguna Beach alumna Kristin Cavallari.)

Speaking of, Kristin Cavallari says she is over ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner, if the T-shirt she’s been wearing that reads “You Can Have Him” is any indication!

But just because she’s moving on doesn’t mean she’s above dissing Brody’s new girl — scary skinny Nicole Richie.

“I think it’s really sad the way she looks,” she exclusively told LifeandStylemag.com at a Club Monaco store in L.A on Aug. 22.

Anyway, People continues Indeed, from lunch at Hollywood’s La Conversation Café (a Nicole fave) last week, to dinner at Mr. Chow, to an A-list birthday bash for celeb stylist Rachel Zoe in Hollywood, the two “just fit together,” says a source who knows Richie and Jenner.

“They are a very normal couple and Brody is a decent, nice, down-to-earth guy,” the source continues. “Even though it’s relatively new, it seems like they’ve been together forever.” Or at least since the ’80s, when the pals often played at one another’s houses.

“(Nicole) is like my godchild. … She’s a darling girl, very intelligent and very together,” Thompson tells PEOPLE. “I think they’re very cute (as a couple). Will they get married? Who knows? He’s young and so is she.”

But does Jenner get the all-important dad stamp of approval? “Oh, yeah,” says Lionel. “He’s a great kid.”

Speculation about Angelina Jolie’s pregnancy has been growing for weeks. Although the actress lost her baby weight quickly after giving birth to daughter Shiloh in late May, recently she’s begun to look heavier around the tummy again.

“Angie has been looking extremely big around the mid section,” says a source. “She lost a ton of weight after Shiloh was born, and now she seems to have gained it back plus some.”

Adds the source, “Pals are buzzing the reason for the expanded waistline is she’s carrying another baby.”

In Touch is also reporting that Angelina Jolie maybe pregnant

“Angelina Looks Pregnant Again!” reads In Touch Weekly’s latest headline. According to the Daily News, the editors at In Touch are basing their story on one photo of Ms. Jolie with a “telltale bump,” reports Just Jared

Nick Lachey is officially over ex-wife Jessica Simpson.
The pop star has told friends new girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo has helped him forget about Jessica and cope with their divorce.

A source close to Nick revealed to People magazine: “Up until about a week ago, he was still pretty obsessed with Jessica. He was devastated. But now he’s over it.
“Vanessa hasn’t said she loves him yet but they get along really well and he stays with her when he is in town.”
Meanwhile, Nick is to start his own basketball team.
The singer has teamed up with long-time friend A.J. DiScala and a host of other celebrities, including Stacy Keibler from ‘Dancing With the Stars’ - to form The Hollywood Fame.
DiScala explained: “We’re excited about bringing highly skilled basketball players to the fans of Los Angeles.
“We are creating a unique family entertainment option at affordable prices.”
The team - which will play its home games at the Los Angeles Sports Arena - will launch its inaugural season this November.

Meanwhile, Jessica Simpson has a new man - singer-songwriter John Mayer.
The singer-turned-actress - who has also been linked to Jared Leto and
comedian Dane Cook - recently started dating Mayer but is apparently taking
things slowly.
A source told People magazine: “She’s tiptoeing back into the dating world.
“It’s the first stage. She’s never been happier.”

“She’s head over heels,” a source close to the pop star, 26, tells PEOPLE in its new cover story. “She’s telling friends, ‘I’m in love.”
